Synergy Group by Christopherson Launches Real Estate, Construction and Development Partnership

SANTA ROSA, Calif.--()--The Christophersons, a legendary Real Estate and Development family that designed and built nearly 6,000 homes in Northern California over the last 35 years, has formed a new company called Synergy Group, by Christopherson. Synergy Group is a platform company, which gets its name from the “synergy” between their four main operating companies.

Synergy Communities, The new community development division currently holds five new home developments and is in the process of acquiring four additional communities, all in the North Bay. The first new home development, Sky Vistas, across from Skyhawk in Rincon Valley, is expected to have new homes available in the summer of 2015

Synergy Realty Group, Formerly Artisan Signature Properties, will continue to provide its real estate brokerage services throughout the North Bay.

Synergy Renovation, Previously Synergy Homes, currently has nine homes in the remodel/resale process and will continue to purchase quality homes for renovation and resale.

Synergy Construction, Formerly Nor-Cal Construction Services, will continue to provide general construction and remodeling services for both residential and commercial properties.

The Synergy Group team is comprised of five principal owners, Keith Christopherson, Brenda Christopherson, Andy Christopherson, Brian Flahavan and Greg Windisch, who bring strong business, development, real estate and legal expertise to the Group.

Brenda Christopherson formally started in the real estate/construction/building profession in the early 80s and was the co-founder of Christopherson Homes, Christopherson Realty and Artisan Signature Properties. Her position and history with these companies give her an extraordinary background and insight in the purchasing of raw land, as well as the development, design, marketing and selling of residential real estate. With 35 years of real estate experience, she has received hundreds of awards, including the JD Powers award for “Best in Customer Satisfaction.” In 2006, Brenda was inducted into the California Builders Hall of Fame, and is one of a just a handful of women to receive this distinction.

Keith Christopherson began his career in Real Estate and Construction in the 1970s, as an apprentice carpenter. In 1979, he co-founded Christopherson Construction, which evolved into Christopherson Homes several years later. Keith was inducted into the California Builders Hall of Fame in 2006 and has been extremely active in the communities where the company operates. He frequently participates in trade, educational and charitable work, as well as organizations that provide housing for low income families. Keith is also a decorated veteran of the Vietnam War.

Andy Christopherson has an extensive background in construction and development. He has been responsible for areas of purchasing and building new home communities, both attached and detached product, from entry level to high end product over the past 20 years. He also has an extensive background in the general construction and remodeling, where he overseen the “renovation and resale” division of Synergy Homes for the last 5 years.

Brian Flahavan is a civil litigation attorney in Sonoma County and legal counsel for the Synergy Group. A graduate of Santa Clara University and the University of San Francisco School of Law. In 2002, he opened Flahavan Law Offices, a litigation firm, with offices in Santa Rosa, Los Angeles and Westlake Village.

Greg Windisch has lived in Sonoma County for 25 years, where he worked in the wine industry before co-founding Trilogy Glass & Packaging. After serving as its President for 10 years, Greg sold Trilogy to a global packaging firm in 2011. Having truly enjoyed the process of building a successful business enterprise, Greg is looking forward to utilizing his business knowledge to build the Synergy Group brand.
