“Our employer members are constantly searching for better ways to manage the health and productivity of their workforce, and we greatly appreciate the F4CP bringing this important information to our event,” says Larry Boress, executive director, NAWHC, an affiliate of the Midwest Business Group on Health, noting that representatives from major corporations, including General Electric, MillerCoors, Allstate and others will attend. “When properly integrated, CAM services have the ability to drive optimal clinical and financial outcomes.”

Led by Dr. Bill Updyke, leader of Physical and Complementary Medicine at LifeConnections Health Center, Cisco, and Jerry Curtin, president of CULTIVATE by Standard Process, the F4CP presentation will highlight unique and particular operational strategies, as well as challenges and successes with CAM services at on-site health centers.

According to Kent S. Greenawalt, chairman, F4CP, “There is solid evidence that supports the inclusion of CAM services, particularly chiropractic, within onsite health centers. In the case of Standard Process, its novel on-site wellness program has resulted in increased employee engagement, decreased disability and reduced overall healthcare costs. We are excited to share these reports with employers and other industry stakeholders.”

The NAWHC focuses on assisting public and private employers, unions and other sponsors of worksite health programs in receiving the greatest return from their onsite health centers, onsite pharmacies, worksite fitness and wellness centers. Each year, the NAWHC hosts several education and networking events for its members.
