SEOUL, South Korea & PARIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--‘2014 Maison & Objet Paris’ will be held at the Paris-Nord Villepinte exhibition in France from September 5 to September 9. As ‘Maison & Objet’ differentiated itself from other exhibitions by focusing on specific theme every time, this event too will focus on the theme of ‘sharing and design’ to showcase the works submitted from all parts of the world.
Seoul Design Foundation (www.seouldesign.or.kr) that is participating in the ‘Maison & Objet’ five years in a row will showcase the works of 21 new designers and companies via its stand-alone booth. In particular, attention is on whether ‘Designtag’ that recorded 5 Billion Won performance in terms of contracts every year since it was showcased for the first time in 2010 as the Korean design business platform and a specialize brand operated by the Seoul Design Foundation will continue to fare well.
Designtag business which was started in 2009 was pursued in order to link the designers and related companies that are based in Seoul with the diverse distribution channels both in and out of Korea and to support their online and offline marketing and PR activities. This business is judged as providing actual help to the designers who had difficulty in entering into market and in commercializing their designers despite their unique idea and superb planning capability.
