Charity Tournament Brings Together Golf Stars Including Jimmy Walker, Patrick Reed, Angel Cabrera, Louis Oosthuizen & Jonas Blixt

NEW YORK--()--Revolutionary private aviation company Wheels Up, announced today that it will sponsor the seventh annual Notah Begay III Foundation Challenge (NB3 Challenge) on August 27 at Turning Stone Resort Casino’s Atunyote® Golf Club. For the second year in a row, Wheels Up will act as the official private aviation partner of the event, arranging flights for participants and VIP guests, as well as sponsoring a hole-in-one opportunity with the prize of complimentary hours on the Beechcraft King Air 350i aircraft.

The annual charity event aims to raise awareness and funding to improve health and wellness concerns affecting Native American communities nationwide. The event is headlined by PGA TOUR stars such as Jimmy Walker, Patrick Reed, Jonas Blixt, Angel Cabrera and Louis Oosthuizen, in addition to Begay.

“It is our pleasure and honor to announce that Wheels Up will once again be our exclusive private aviation partner for the 2014 Notah Begay III Foundation Challenge. Through their generous involvement last year, NB3F was able to continue our commitment to ensure that Native American youth are given healthy opportunities to be engaged in positive activities that can promote their well-being and success as young adults,” said Notah Begay. “We look forward to the future and believe that with supporters such as Wheels Up, we can truly make a difference in the lives of these children for years to come.”

Through the support of participating elite golfers and spectators who flock to Turning Stone, as well as a strong partnership with Oneida Indian Nation, the NB3 Challenge has raised more than $5 million since its beginning in 2008. All proceeds from the tournament directly benefit NB3F and its ongoing work in Native American communities. NB3F’s mission is to reduce the incidences of obesity and type 2 diabetes and encourage leadership development among Native American children through sports, health and wellness programming. NB3F has established itself as a leader in research, advocacy and strategic grant-making within Native American communities, beyond its proven record of developing sustainable, replicable, evidence-based programs.
