ST. MICHAEL, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--U.S. Water Services, Inc., a leading provider of integrated water and process solutions for the biofuels industry, is pleased to announce the addition of Shawn Easterly to the Ethanol Process Technologies team of U.S. Water. Shawn will provide energy center consultation and services to biofuels plants across the United States focusing on throughput, production efficiencies, and system optimization. “Everything starts and ends in the energy center," says Easterly. “By optimizing that area of the plant we are enhancing their ability to make more profit by increasing their throughput while maintaining their ability to meet compliance regulations.”
After 8 years in the industry working with energy centers, Easterly notes that what he feels are the most important aspect of his job are the safety checks he performs of the various energy center systems while on-site. “I have a very great respect for the energy that’s in those buildings,” states Easterly. “As plants are running harder to meet demand, it’s critical to identify and prevent possible safety risks.”
Easterly’s skills, knowledge and experience in the industry are widely recognized as well. Aaron Riedell, General Manager from NuGen Energy comments, “Shawn has a very niche skill that is badly needed in the industry. He combines process troubleshooting with combustion tuning in order to maximize production rates and efficiencies while maintaining environmental compliance and safety. His experience across different process designs, plants, and situations make him a tremendous asset to our organization.”
U.S. Water seeks to identify and eliminate the root cause of problems, finding optimal solutions for each customer’s individual water treatment needs based on the best combination of chemistry, equipment, engineering and technical services.
