HEIDELBERG--(BUSINESS WIRE)--We’re sharing more pictures and videos than ever before and we’re tweeting like crazy. But our social media are spread across numerous channels, fragmented by the posts of others, and hard to find later. With Yarnee, a new iOS app launching today, you can keep your favorite stuff together in simple, shareable collections called “Yarns.”
Yarns keep your favorite moments, thoughts and memories together and accessible. From photos to video to voice notes and tweets, each Yarn can continuously be updated, allowing users to share with friends and family their favorite experiences. It’s the perfect way to separate the signal from the noise of traditional social media, in order to showcase a person’s hobbies, life events, products and visual thoughts into easy-to-follow content strings.
“Our goal with Yarnee is to make it easy to build and share collections of your favorite content,” said Dan Kelly, CEO, Danke Games, creators of Yarnee. “Yarnee allows users to keep related content together and share it, if they wish, as a collection. People shouldn’t have to hunt for their favorite pictures or videos. It’s the ideal app for anyone who takes pictures with their phone. Which, in today’s world, is everyone.”
With Yarnee, people can create Yarns from their iPhone’s camera roll, as well as their Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts. They can keep their Yarns private, share directly with friends via email or SMS, or make them more widely available by posting to Facebook and Twitter. Yarns can be made public for the world to see, or kept private for personal purposes.
Yarnee is a free download and is available on the App Store for iPhones running iOS 7 or later.
