LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Bally Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: BYI) (“Bally” or the “Company”) has partnered with Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn., for the world’s largest installation of table game progressive jackpots.
Bally’s new Game Manager 2 software will be used to track progressive jackpots on 43 tables across Mohegan Sun’s three casinos: Casino of the Earth, Casino of the Sky, and Casino of the Wind. The Mohegan Sun upgrade marks the installation of the greatest number of table game progressives Bally has performed in North America.
Game Manager 2 enables multi-level jackpots and multiple fully configurable reserve pools, allowing players to compete for multiple real-time incrementing meters with just one wager. The product was developed by SHFL entertainment, which was acquired by Bally in November 2013.
“The use of Game Manager 2 represents a significant enhancement from a player perspective,” said Bally’s Senior Vice President of Table and Utility Products Roger Snow. “Previously, players made a progressive wager that tied to only one jackpot. Players can now win from multiple reserve pools, which elevates the gaming experience by increasing unpredictability and introducing more ways to win across the gaming floor.”
Added Snow, “We’re extremely grateful for all of the hard work Mohegan Sun has done to ensure the success of this partnership. Progressive jackpots on table games not only bring increased excitement to the property, but also can increase profitability for casinos.”
