OCEANSIDE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--HootWinc, LLC, the west coast franchise for Hooters locations in Southern California has named The Yost Theater in Santa Ana, California, as the host venue for its annual regional swimsuit pageant finals on June 7. More than 40 Hooters Girls from across 15 Hooters locations in Southern California will compete for a spot in the 18th annual Miss Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant that takes place in Las Vegas on July 23.
“The swimsuit final pageant is one of the largest events we host regionally,” said Rick Leukert, chief executive officer and operating partner, HootWinc, LLC. “It is always exciting to see which Hooters Girls will be representing Southern California at the International Pageant and is a great opportunity for our guests to cheer on their favorite Hooters Girls."
Doors open at The Yost Theater at 6:30 p.m. and the contest kicks off at 7:30 p.m. Events like these help HootWinc, LLC raise funds to donate towards causes such as the Kelly Jo Dowd Breast Cancer Research Grant and Operation Homefront in honor of the Tom Valentine Fund.
More than 17,000 Hooters Girls are competing this year across the country for one of the 100 coveted spots in the Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant, where the brightest and most beautiful Hooters Girls from around the world will have a chance to win cash, prizes and become an ambassador for the iconic Hooters brand as Miss Hooters International 2014. Kentucky-based Marissa Raisor was named Miss Hooters International 2013 and has since served as a spokesperson on national media programs for Hooters, traveled to host special events and appeared as the 2014 Hooters Calendar Cover Girl.
