LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Xaxis, the world's largest programmatic media and technology platform, announced today it has named Marcus Siddons as managing director for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Siddons will be responsible for managing operations across the region, overseeing account management, trading, publisher relations and partnerships.
Siddons joins Xaxis from Sony Pictures Entertainment where he served as head of digital media for Sony Pictures Television Arabia. In this role, he led strategy for the studio’s in-market Web / mobile only productions as well as oversaw the digital platforms for Sony television properties airing in the MENA market. His responsibilities included a focus on video monetization and second screen integration. Previously, Siddons was head of digital, Middle East & North Africa for global media agency MindShare. He holds a BA from Oxford Brookes University in Marketing Management and was a member of the IAB UK’s Mobile Council and founding member of the IAB UK’s Social Media Taskforce.
