CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cintas Corporation (NASDAQ: CTAS) today announced that its distribution center located at its Mason, Ohio headquarters has received Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Star certification from the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). VPP is OSHA’s highest recognition for the practice of and commitment to exemplary occupational safety and health and “Star” is its highest distinction.

The distribution center in Mason first began its journey toward VPP designation in 2008, and now becomes the 22nd company-wide facility under federal OSHA jurisdiction to receive VPP designation. The designation required monthly, rigorous audits and the close collaboration between management and employee-partners to achieve full engagement to continuous safety improvement. Approximately 300 people are employed at the facility.
