SubscriberWise Empowers U.S. Consumers with FICO Scores and Credit Information

TAMPA, Fla.--()--SubscriberWise, the nation’s largest issuing consumer reporting agency for the communications industry, announced that consumers around the country benefit from FICO scores and other key information contained in federally compliant pricing notifications created by the issuing CRA.

“On average, SubscriberWise technology touches a U.S. consumer every minute of every hour of every day,” said David Howe, president of SubscriberWise. “And every month SubscriberWise member operators generate tens of thousands of service applications that result in thousands of federally compliant consumer notifications. These notifications empower and inform consumers with critical information about their credit.”

“The notifications are called Risk-Base Pricing (RBP) notices,” continued Howe. “Most include a genuine FICO score (approximately 80 percent of applicants to communications operators generate a FICO score because they have sufficient information contained in their consumer file to generate a credit score) along with key factors that impact the calculation of the score. For consumers who are non-scorable at the time their application is processed, there’s a similar notice that’s provided. However, every RBP notice includes important information about a consumer credit report and informs consumers how they can obtain a copy of their report,” concluded Howe.
