SPRINGFIELD, Mo.--()--A double take is in order at the Courtyard by Marriott Springfield Airport in Missouri with a more than $1.5 million renovation in progress of its guest rooms/suites, common areas and meeting space. Conveniently located just off I-44, exit 75, the 142-room/suite hotel plans to complete its capital improvements in February 2014. Enhanced Lobby Life

The transformation of the hotel’s new stylish lobby has been completed and welcomes guests with flexible spaces to work or relax. The modern environment with comfortable modular furniture showcases an inviting color palette of crimson, gold and earth tones. Complimentary Wi-Fi throughout and easy access to the latest news, weather and airport conditions via the Courtyard GoBoard® adds to the area’s functionality. A main feature of the lobby experience is The Bistro Eat. Drink. Connect.®, which provides guests with healthy food and beverage offerings in the morning and evening dinner service with cocktails. In addition, guests can enjoy the hotel’s refurbished outdoor patio area featuring ample seating around an attractive fire pit.

More Refreshing Offerings

Soon all of the Courtyard Springfield Airport guest rooms/suites will feature a contemporary style and new plush carpet, updated furnishings and fixtures, modern artwork, energy-efficient lighting, ergonomic chairs, pull-out sofas, and cloud-like cumulus bedding. New shower curtains and framed mirrors of refreshed bathrooms will be complemented by granite countertops. Also, unique to JQH and Courtyard Springfield Airport, guest accommodations are being remodeled to offer a built-in “refreshment center,” where a mini-fridge, microwave oven and coffeemaker are housed for guests’ convenience.
