CACI Awarded Two Prime Contracts Totaling $237 Million to Support U.S. Joint Military Forces’ Tactical Information Network Worldwide

New Work Supports Encrypted and Open Communications for Forces In-theatre and on Bases

ARLINGTON, Va.--()--CACI International Inc (NYSE: CACI) announced today that it has been awarded two prime contracts totaling $237 million by the U.S. Army to support the Warfighter Information Network—Tactical (WIN-T). The new work for the company will support Army and U.S. Marine Corps joint military forces deployed in-theatre and at command centers worldwide with comprehensive fielding, sustainment, and maintenance of satellite terminals to provide a full range of encrypted and open communications. This award expands CACI’s growth in its C4ISR (command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance) and Logistics and Material Readiness market areas.

The deployed terminals in the WIN-T network number approximately 1,000 and provide reliable communications within regional commands, as well as inter-theatre communications capabilities to other countries in several continents. Information is the key element of combat success, enabling commanders to magnify the effects of maneuverability, firepower, and force protection. Serving as the communications backbone for U.S. joint military forces, the terminals are crucial components for units, delivering secure beyond-line-of-sight communications and providing access to tactical and strategic networks for mission command, call for fire, medical evacuation, and secure information exchange.

With this award, CACI will provide all-inclusive support that includes deployment and fielding of terminals at locations worldwide, providing extensive training for U.S. military forces, while supplying embedded maintenance support to the deployed units in accordance with the field sustainment plan. The customer benefits from the CACI team’s wide-ranging, proven management capability to provide best value, reliable, ongoing support to the service in multiple areas of operation.

John Mengucci, CACI’s Chief Operating Officer and President of U.S. Operations, said, “This new work to support the Army’s Warfighter Information Network–Tactical offers CACI the opportunity to ensure that the deployed forces’ satellite communications remain highly reliable, in support of their vital missions. We’re pleased to deliver another essential service to expand our support for this valued customer.”

According to CACI President and Chief Executive Officer Ken Asbury, “The WIN-T contract is an important strategic win for CACI. It’s much more than one of the largest programs that the U.S. Army currently has in the C4ISR arena…it broadens our support in this high-volume market area and positions us as a first-line solutions and service provider for U.S. Armed Forces’ critical intelligence and communications programs.”
