DYNAMICS INC. INTRODUCES ANOTHER BREAKTHROUGH IN CREDIT CARD DESIGN – THE BRANDED STRIPE
THE LONGABERGER® EPLATE® VISA® CARD AVAILABLE WITH THE FIRST BRANDED STRIPE DEPICTING AN AMERICAN FLAG
This week Dynamics introduced another breakthrough in credit card design with the Industry’s first fully branded magnetic stripe. Introduced on the newly issued Longaberger® ePlate® Visa® card, the previously plain dark mag stripe has now become a part of the overall card design. On the back of the card, Longaberger® card holders are now reminded of that company’s “Made in America” commitment by a magnetic stripe design that features the company’s signature weave of an American flag.
“We created the technology for the branded magnetic stripe to provide our partners with an additional branding reinforcement that no other card offers, as well as an extra layer of wear and tear protection on the card,” said Jeff Mullen, CEO of Dynamics Inc. ePlate® cards, were previously unbranded, and with the Longaberger® version of the card, they now offer two branded designs on the front of the card featuring the Longaberger® basket branding, or their signature “weave” design across the front of the card. On the back of the card, where users have become accustomed to a plain dark magnetic stripe, they will now find the Longaberger® signature “weave” design featuring the American flag, which reinforced Longaberger’s commitment to American-made products.
While providing an additional branded message to users, the new branded magnetic stripe also provides an added layer of scratch and wear and tear resistance. On August 8, 2013, FOX News reported that “Dynamics Inc. has quietly reinvented the credit card” in reference to the new Longaberger® branded “Made in America” cards.
The Dynamics ePlate® Visa® card offers users over 50 rewards that they can choose from, before every swipe, by pushing one of two buttons on the front of the card. Users assign rewards to the two buttons on the card using their phone, tablet or PC, and then push the button for the reward they want. When the button is pushed, that button on the card lights up to indicate which reward was selected and activates the industry’s only rewritable magnetic stripe.
The new Longaberger® ePlate® Visa® card offers users the ability to earn an exclusive, signed Longaberger® basket available only to Dynamics ePlate® cardholders, valued at $300 - a six percent reward - or to earn a $15 gift certificate good for any Longaberger® merchandise after spending $500 with the Longaberger® reward selected.
The Dynamics ePlate® Visa® card and Longaberger® ePlate® Visa® card are issued by UMB Bank, n.a. and operates on the Visa® network.
