Warecorp Named to Inc. 500|5000 List of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies

Web and software services provider ranks number 1928 on this year’s list with three-year revenue growth of 196 percent

MINNEAPOLIS--()--Inc. magazine ranked Warecorp number 1928 on its annual Inc. 500|5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies, released this week. A provider of affordable web and software services for change agents and the impact economy, Warecorp joins the list representing a comprehensive look at a vital segment of the U.S. economy—independent entrepreneurs.

“Of course, we are thrilled to have made this list,” said Chris Dykstra, Warecorp CEO. “It’s a great honor for our team and an affirmation of our model of providing software development and story-telling capacity to the impact economy. We owe a big debt of gratitude to the innovators, change agents, entrepreneurs and activists who make up our customer base. We plan to continue to help them fulfill their missions and tell their stories by providing great software and web services, and building influential media brands.”

"Not all the companies in the Inc. 500|5000 are in glamorous industries, but in their fields they are as famous as household name companies simply by virtue of being great at what they do,” said Inc. Editor Eric Schurenberg. “They are the hidden champions of job growth and innovation -- the real muscle of the American economy.”

The 2013 Inc. 500|5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2009 to 2012. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2009. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of Dec. 31, 2012. The minimum revenue required for 2009 is $100,000; the minimum for 2012 is $2 million. Complete results of the Inc. 5000 can be found at www.inc.com/5000.
