Agentis Energy and We Energies Announce 15,000 Wisconsin Businesses Now Have Access to State-of-the-Art Energy Efficiency Software

Commercial and industrial customers are now able to use We Energies Account Monitor to optimize energy usage

CHICAGO--()--Agentis Energy today announced that Wisconsin’s We Energies is providing its commercial and industrial customers with access to Agentis’ cutting-edge energy efficiency software. Beginning today, 15,000 Wisconsin businesses have access to the Agentis Platform, marketed by We Energies as Account Monitor – state-of-the-art software that gives businesses the analytics and insight needed to increase their energy efficiency and drive savings to the bottom line.

"We are thrilled to have partnered with We Energies to help their business customers manage energy usage," Tim Stojka, CEO of Agentis Energy said. "We Energies understands that their business customers want and need innovative tools to help them use energy more efficiently. The Agentis Platform gives these customers easy-to-use tools to help them reach their energy goals, while providing the utility with deeper customer insights and a new vehicle to improve customer satisfaction."

“Account Monitor is another important tool that we can share with customers to help them manage their energy service,” Joan Shafer, senior vice president of Customer Services at We Energies said. “The more information we can provide to our business customers, the better it is for them to make energy decisions that can positively impact their bottom line.”

“As an energy efficiency program implementer, energy is our business. Account Monitor allows us to see our usage patterns and manage our account,” Paul Van Engen, Small Business and Education and Awareness program manager at Franklin Energy said. “We also use this valuable tool to show customers their electrical usage patterns so we can help them develop plans to use energy more efficiently.” Franklin Energy administers the Energy Incentives program for We Energies.

The Agentis Platform gives companies detailed data about their energy usage and pinpoints opportunities for savings derived from analytics. By identifying these trends and opportunities, businesses are able to adjust their energy usage accordingly, opening the door for significant cost savings. The software also gives customers the ability to run simulations and understand the savings potential available through associated changes.

Starting today, 12,000 new We Energies commercial and industrial customers are able to use the Account Monitor, joining an existing 3,000 customers that were given access last September during a successful pilot project. Newly-eligible businesses include those customers who generally use more than 10,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity per month. Eligible businesses can log on to their account by visiting https://we-energies.agentisenergy.com.
