A ribbon-cutting event to celebrate the expansion of the West Coast Electric Highway in Washington State with the opening of charging stations along Interstate-5.

 

WHO:

Governor Chris Gregoire and local officials, electric vehicle (EV) drivers and business people will provide brief remarks and be available for media interviews about the West Coast Electric Highway and its expected impact on EV driving.

Interviews with Governor Chris Gregoire, local officials, EV enthusiasts and local business people to learn about the impact of the West Coast Electric Highway on consumers, the local economy and the national adoption of electric vehicles. Visuals will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony and electric vehicle charging.
