Criteo Names Top European Executive as General Manager for North America

New Appointment Reflects Company’s Continued Growth and Expansion

NEW YORK--()--Criteo (www.criteo.com), the global leader in performance display advertising solutions, announced today the appointment of Robert Lang as General Manager of North America. Lang was formerly Managing Director for Criteo’s Central Europe region, heading up eight countries.

In his new position, effective April 1, 2012, Lang will spearhead Criteo’s sales and client service teams in the U.S., and will report to President Greg Coleman. Having signed more than 200 clients with a team approaching 100 people divided between four offices (New York, Palo Alto, Chicago, and Boston), Robert will run all client-facing business.

Prior to joining Criteo, Robert developed an excellent record that we look forward to leveraging to the benefit of our clients and company.”

Previously, Lang served as Managing Director for Central Europe at Criteo. He has demonstrated superior knowledge of the European market, having generated more than 600 client accounts over the last three years. Having had particular success in Central Europe, Criteo is now a trusted name among advertisers and publishers, and the company credits Robert with that success.

Prior to joining Criteo, Lang developed an excellent record of entrepreneurial and high-growth assignments. He was CEO of Result, a partnership rolling out successful business models internationally. Prior to that, he was the Head of Europe and German MD for the worldwide WiFi P2P platform FON. He was also founder and CEO of WLAN AG, the leading German WIFI operator, which he sold to Swisscom in 2003. Following a career as a Management consultant with LEK Consulting, his first operational assignment was the German rollout of iobox, taken over by Telefonica for €230 million in mid-2000. He also knows the investor world well as President of Web and Mobility at the European Tech Tour Association, and as a former Venture Partner at Hasso Plattner (the founder of SAP).
