Nintendo is offering a truly extraordinary experience for new and longtime Pokémon™ fans during this year’s New York Comic Con event. On Oct. 15, conference attendees and members of the public are invited to visit a special Pokémon Gaming Lounge at SIR Stage 37 (just a short walk from the New York Comic Con show floor at Javits Center). While there, visitors can enjoy hands-on demos of the first Pokémon game for the portable Nintendo 3DS™ system, Pokémon™ Rumble Blast, in advance of its Oct. 24 launch. Other activities at the lounge will include trivia contests, a 3D Pokémon photo booth, a Pokémon-inspired kid’s spelling bee, large Pokémon AR Markers and prize giveaways while supplies last. |

Pokémon Rumble Blast challenges players to battle against more than 600 Toy Pokémon in an action-packed portable adventure. Offering rich 3D visuals that can be enjoyed without the need for special glasses, the game includes two new battle modes, StreetPass features and the ability for two friends to play together over a local wireless connection.
