Komen, Village Inn and Bakers Square restaurants – for the first time ever – will each ship SIX of their limited-time signature pink pies to the highest bidders in the United States. The restaurants’ parent company, Denver-based American Blue Ribbon Holdings, LLC (ABRH) has committed to donating at least $25,000 to Susan G. Komen.
Village Inn’s Berry Pink Pies and Bakers Square’s Pink Ribbon Chocolate Strawberry Pies are newly created, never-before-tasted sensations. They combine smooth chocolate ganache with creamy supreme and sweet strawberry supreme in a chocolate cookie crust with a border of fresh whipped cream and pink ribbon sprinkles. The delicacies are sold exclusively in October to benefit Komen, whose vision is a world without breast cancer.
Along with all proceeds from the auction, a dollar from the sale of each whole Komen Pie sold between Oct. 1 and 31 is being donated to Komen. The pies are available at participating Village Inn and Bakers Square restaurants nationwide.

Komen for the Cure, we decided it would be well worthwhile to auction pies for such an important cause, especially during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.”
