FutureM Speakers to Define the Future of Marketing

FutureM 2011 showcases the innovations and thinking transforming the marketing world

BOSTON--()--FutureM, the community-driven event experience taking place September 12-16, 2011, announced the first round of events selected for 2011. The brainchild of MITX (Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange) and a group of leading thinkers in marketing and media, FutureM is a collective effort in which the event partners – companies, organizations, venture firms and university groups – host events designed to explore the future of marketing. The events reflect the evolving marketing industry and present forward-looking perspective on the changes affecting the industry.

“The outstanding and innovative events selected for FutureM 2011 capture what modern marketing will look like tomorrow and years from now,” said MITX president, Debi Kleiman. “The future of marketing is so complex and fascinating, cutting across an ever wider swath of creative and technology disciplines to build the relationships and connections that brands dream about.”

The first round of event proposals resulted in 35 new sessions that are joining the seven anchor events previously announced: Boston Business Journal's CMO of the Year Awards, CHANGE: Marketing Daily's Digital Transformation Summit, a Mediapost Live event, Gravity Summit, HubSpot User Group Summit, Inbound Marketing Summit Massachusetts Innovation Nights, and Web Innovator’s Group. The full event list can be found at futurem.org.

Registration is now open for all of the sessions. The FutureM event structure allows participants to custom-design their schedules by selecting to attend one or many events, on one day or across multiple days, to maximize their time and meet their specific interests, all with the purchase of one FutureM pass. Early-bird rates are available until July 22. To purchase a pass and create your schedule, visit futurem.org.

The FutureM Headquarters Sponsor is Hill Holliday. Founding sponsors include Boston.com, Hivefire and Mullen. The current Opening Night sponsor is Compete. Sponsorship opportunities are still available; contact Kara Boudreau for more information.
