Aquilent CFO Melissa Hook Named as a Finalist for CFO of the Year in Tech Council of Maryland’s 2011 Tech Awards

Prestigious Award Recognizes Individuals and Organizations for Innovation, Dedication and Outstanding Service to Maryland’s Technology Community

LAUREL, Md.--()--Aquilent, the recognized leading provider of Web-based solutions shaping the next generation of technology for the federal government, today announced that its Chief Financial Officer, Melissa Hook, has been named as a finalist for CFO of the Year as part of the Tech Council of Maryland (TCM) 2011 Tech Awards. The public announcement took place at last night’s awards ceremony, held in Bethesda, MD.

TCM recognizes Mid-Atlantic companies in six categories: Emerging Company of the Year, Biotechnology Firm of the Year, High Technology Firm of the Year, Government Contracting Firm of the Year, Executive of the Year, and new for 2011, Chief Financial Officer of the Year. The CFO of the Year Award recognizes senior financial leaders for their outstanding contributions and accomplishments during the 2010 fiscal year with demonstrated excellence, insight and direction to realize financial achievement for their organization.
