Samsung Forges Strategic Partnerships to Deliver Powerful, Flexible Enterprise Printing Solutions

RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J.--()--Samsung Electronics America, Inc., a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Corporation, today announced a dynamic suite of printing solutions for mid-size to enterprise businesses. Using relationships with strategic partners, Samsung has prepared a number of printing solutions to be integrated with its powerful and flexible eXtensible Open Architecture (XOA) platform. With the XOA platform, Samsung can provide customized enterprise solutions integrated with multi-function printers and copiers to meet the specific requirements of a variety of customers in business, education, healthcare, government and more.

“We are excited that, after several years of mutual development and testing, Samsung is launching an XOA platform to support our partners’ value-added software solutions,” said Ron Nevo, senior manager of solutions marketing at Samsung Electronics America Enterprise Business Division. “Our goal is to combine the first class technology built into all of our printers and copiers with our partners’ unique applications to offer business users a broad spectrum of solutions for document management, secure printing, and cost-savings. We look forward to continuing to collaborate on the development of new, innovative solutions that enhance the user experience.”

Current Samsung partners with ready-to-go embedded XOA solutions include:

BITS

BITS offers One Stop Print Release, a cost-effective and simple, secure printing solution. It allows the user to print to a central queue using a Samsung print driver as if they are printing directly to the device. The user can then collect the print-out from any XOA enabled device at any time, following an authentication process. All activity is logged and can be reported for easy usage tracking.

DPD International

DPD International’s GoldFax platform for Samsung XOA enables organizations to gain centralized control of their inbound and outbound faxing, without the need for multi-function peripheral fax kits or fax lines. Faxes are managed via the Internet through a GoldFax server. Users can send and receive faxes from any Samsung XOA device as well as through desktop applications and email. GoldFax reduces costs while increasing productivity as well as meeting security regulations.

Drivve US, LLC.

Drivve’s suite of tools lets users integrate and optimize their information-rich documents supporting the entire document life-cycle. Fully automated, flexible scan profiles with predefined document filing allow document input and processing with features, such as advanced image cleaning, Bates stamping, customized indexing and outputting to a variety of locations.

Genius Bytes

Genius Bytes provides a scalable, secure pull printing platform allowing users to have full control over their printing environments while protecting from unauthorized copying or printing. This includes document encryption and decryption, user authentication and job accounting.

Intellinetics

Intellinetics provides Intellivue XOA, a platform that combines Samsung’s XOA devices with Intellivue’s Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Platform. Intellivue has created a new industry benchmark in its ability to deliver economic and operational impact with indexing, workflow, advanced security, and enhanced access control.

MWAi

MWAi provides MPS dealers with a PC-less device management solution. The XOA embedded software allows remote diagnostics, automated meter reading, automated service call creation as well as reporting and analytics.

Pharos Systems International

Pharos provides powerful print management and optimization solutions to corporations, educational institutions, and libraries. Pharos Blueprint® Enterprise and Uniprint® software save money, reduce waste, and make it easy to secure devices and documents.

Prism Software

Prism’s DocRecord™ complete modular and scalable suite of software manages an organization’s complete electronic document lifecycle. Electronic documents captured from an XOA device can be automatically organized, filed, retrieved and archived into any company system equipped with a Zone OCR function, saving time and resources.

Ubiquitech

Ubiquitech’s EASY software, coupled with their VDMS print management platform, provides a flexible job accounting and secure print management solution. It offers easy installation, gives control, saves costs and increases security and confidentiality with pull printing.
