Odyssey Pictures Inks Two-Picture Deal with ReelWorks/GlueWorks

Odyssey to Co-Produce & Market Sequel to “The Ultimate Gift” & “Hermie and Friends” Feature

DALLAS--()--Odyssey Pictures Corporation (OTCQB: OPIX) (Odyssey), a media & entertainment company, announces a financing, co-production agreement with ReelWorks Studios, LLC and GlueWorks Creative Management. GlueWorks is the animation arm of ReelWorks, a state-of-the-art production studio based in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The deal encompasses development, financing and key sales activities for ReelWorks’ “The Ultimate Life” and GlueWorks’ feature title “Hermie & Friends.” “The Ultimate Life” is the sequel to “The Ultimate Gift,” a live-action redemption story released in theaters in 2007, based on a best-selling novel by Jim Stovall and starring James Garner, Brian Dennehy, Drew Fuller and Abigail Breslin. “Hermie & Friends” is the feature film version of the highly popular children’s animated DVD series created by best selling author Max Lucado.

In addition to providing production financing for these projects, Odyssey also retains worldwide sales rights and will place the two films into theatrical distribution as well as the DVD market. Both features have already secured commitments from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment for their domestic DVD rights. Odyssey’s President/CEO John Foster will serve as Executive Producer on both.

“We’re very happy to be involved in producing such quality family content,” remarked Odyssey’s John Foster. “Being involved early in the production process allows us to influence the product for market demand and greatly expand our opportunities on the distribution side.”

“A multi-faceted company like Odyssey is a great partner for us,” said Rick Eldridge, ReelWorks Studios’ CEO, Executive Producer and Creative Producer of Feature Projects. “They’re not only supporting us in the production process, they’ll also be there to guide us when the finished creative product is ready to be marketed.”
