James Croke and Peter Manbeck Join Chapman and Cutler LLP as Partners in New York

NEW YORK--()--Chapman and Cutler LLP announced today that James J. Croke and Peter C. Manbeck, formerly of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, have joined the firm as partners in the asset securitization group in the New York office.

Mr. Croke and Mr. Manbeck worked together at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, where Mr. Croke was head of the London capital markets department and instrumental in the legal development of the European ABCP market. He has also served as a member of the board of directors of the American Securitization Forum and on the faculty of the Practising Law Institute with respect to developments in the asset backed commercial paper sector. Mr. Croke is internationally recognized as a top structured finance attorney, including by Euromoney’s Best of the Best, the International Financial Law Review, and the Legal 500.
