Railmark Supports LIVING WITNESSES: FACES OF THE HOLOCAUST

WALLED LAKE, Mich.--()--Railmark Holdings, Inc. announced today that its Rail Entertainment USA Inc. subsidiary will be offering the new book LIVING WITNESSES: FACES OF THE HOLOCAUST in its retail gift shop in time for its holiday trains and along with the publisher, will distribute all proceeds received from book sales to a local charity that supports Holocaust survivors in need. Earlier this year Railmark’s Michigan Air-Line Railway Co. was used by the book’s authors for photo shoots along with local Detroit-area Holocaust survivors.

The book’s authors, the mother and daughter team of Monni and Sabrina Must, created LIVING WITNESSES: FACES OF THE HOLOCAUST, to show the portraits and experiences of Detroit-area Holocaust survivors. The 92 survivors featured form the foundation of this inspiring and heart-wrenching book. It captures the survivors’ personalities and honors who they were before the war, vividly depicting their experiences during the war, and honors who they became afterward. This book is a timeless tribute to the survivors and serves as both a reminder and testament to the strong spirit of survival—not only to people of the Jewish faith, but also to anyone who suffers and overcomes.

Railmark’s Walled Lake Michigan railroad was used as a backdrop for photo shoots. The railroad scenes are featured both inside the book and the back cover. The inside photo shows the survivors featured in the book standing beside one of its historic 1917 railcars. Railmark President & CEO B. Allen Brown comments: “The photography in this book is stunning and its content is moving. It would be enjoyed by anyone, regardless of their faith.”
