LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Madera Group announces today that lifestyle entrepreneurs Tosh Berman and Mikey Tanha will be launching their new independent hospitality company, Noble 33. Sure to be an ever-evolving and growing lineup of unique, social dining restaurants stateside and abroad, Noble 33 will now lead the management of the existing Toca Madera and Casa Madera restaurants, while also leading the continued expansion of these iconic brands and developing brand new concepts that will further expand the boundaries of high-energy fine-dining. Over the next three years, the group has targets for new locations in West Hollywood, Toronto, Las Vegas, Chicago, Miami, New York, and Dubai.
This news is dual noteworthy as The Madera Group’s wildly popular Modern Mexican restaurant chain, Tocaya, announced on Tuesday its merger with the better-for-you fresh-casual pioneer, Tender Greens, to form One Table Restaurant Brands (OTRB).
Of the Tocaya and Tender Greens merger, Berman states, “We have identified an opportunity for Tocaya to finally fulfill its vision to merge with another powerhouse brand and create a force in the experiential fresh-casual dining space. Mikey and I have great faith in the leadership team, knowing they will carry the baton of this newly formed merger to great heights.”
Berman and Tanha have stepped aside from their respective roles as Co-Founder/CEO and President at Tocaya. Berman will remain an active Board Member and Executive Consultant for OTRB and The Madera Group, focusing his primary efforts on serving Noble 33 as Co-Founder and Chairman. Tanha will also stay on as a Board Member of The Madera Group while stepping forward as Co-Founder and CEO of Noble 33 - overseeing the new global hospitality group.
