KNOXVILLE, Tenn.--()--Usage of CRS Data’s MLS Tax Suite, a leading property tax data platform, has bounced above pre-pandemic levels, as more agents turn to property data and map tools to service customers successfully. Use of the platform was up 11 percent in July/August 2020 compared to July/August of 2019. And usage of the property tax data tools in August 2020 jumped 24 percent from April 2020 usage metrics.

“We are distinctly aware of how important virtual property data tools are to successfully servicing clients in today’s virtual sales environment,” said Matt Casey, CEO of CRS Data. “We have worked quickly to enhance our product, including enriching our prospecting tools and ensuring our users can find training in a variety of ways, whether with video tutorials or speaking with our Help Desk.”

Agents are looking to the MLS Tax Suite to help customers envision a home when they can’t easily experience the space in-person due to increased regulations. They often use mapping tools to show the distance between a home and a local pool house, lake or community center. Map views give buyers a better sense of a community or neighborhood’s size and proximity to amenities.

The property tax data team at CRS Data is enhancing almost every aspect of its MLS Tax Suite to help agents who turn to digital tools at an increasing rate. Agents use many popular tools in the MLS Tax Suite to create a more seamless sales experience. For example, they can calculate the value of home additions, such as a bathroom renovation or kitchen update, to ensure accurate comps. They also leverage personalized customization options, such as the ability to add a photo, contact information and a note to their property reports, which are scrutinized in more detail when in-person experiences aren’t available.

CRS Data is committed to offering personable customer support to all MLSs and associations, regardless of size. Their help desk is available by phone or email, and training is always offered. While in-person meetings are limited, CRS Data hosts live webinar trainings to support customers.
