The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) was established in 1947, and has a 68 year history of stock car racing at the highest levels in the US. Over that span, the NASCAR Series has experienced substantial growth in participation and popularity among fans. Today there are over 7.5 million spectators across the country that watch or attend NASCAR events each week. Today, NASCAR consists of multiple racing series including the 3 most popular: “Sprint Cup Series”, “Xfinity Series”, and “Camping World Truck Series”. Races each week are held at venues across the country with varying degrees of challenge such as large and small ovals as well as various road courses. Each NASCAR season lasts 10 months from February to November each year.

Hattori Racing Enterprises (HRE) was established in 2009 by Mr. Shigeaki Hattori and is headquartered in Mooresville, NC. Mr. Hattori was a champion driver in the Formula Toyota Series in Japan. He later went on to compete in the Indy Racing League (IRL), Toyota Atlantic Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. HRE is proud to be the first Japanese racing team in the NASCAR series and continues to battle each week in pursuit of a championship.
