CAI Supporting Feeding America’s COVID-19 Response Fund with $100K Donation

ALLENTOWN, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Computer Aid, Inc. (CAI). a privately held business technology services firm with offices throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region, today announced its support of Feeding America through a $100,000 contribution to the COVID-19 Response Fund. CAI’s support helps Feeding America meet the needs of millions of Americans who are turning to food banks for much-needed support as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The most vulnerable in our communities need us now more than ever. CAI’s long-standing commitment to purpose-driven leadership and community involvement is engrained in our culture and part of the fabric of our organization,” said Tom Salvaggio, President of CAI. “We are honored to be able to contribute during this critical time of need.”

Additionally, CAI extends an opportunity to their over 6,000 associates and to the extended business community who are interested in contributing to Feeding America. They may do so by making personal contributions at www.feedingamerica.org/cai-covid.

Before the COVID-19 crisis, 37 million people – including 11 million kids and 5.5 million seniors - faced hunger in the U.S. Now, with school closures, job disruptions, and health risks, volunteerism is not enough. The need for contributions is paramount and the necessity of the Feeding America network has never been more evident. Every dollar raised for this fund will be used to get food and funds to local food banks.
