MINNEAPOLIS--()--Preston Spire, Minneapolis’ independently-owned “Good Wins” agency, is amplifying Mental Health Awareness Month through its recent work with Make It OK, a community campaign powered by HealthPartners that aims to put an end to the stigma around mental health. Preston Spire has worked with Make It OK for over 10 years, most recently redesigning its website to reach a broader, more diverse audience and provide mental health advocates with more resources to help their communities.

“Our ongoing work with Make It OK is centered on a mission to break the stigma our society has toward mental illness, shedding light on more stories and experiences in an effort to normalize these conversations,” says Chris Preston, Partner and Chief Creative Officer at Preston Spire. “Everyone has a different journey with mental health, so it was crucial that the new site be accessible for anyone seeking support.”

The agency’s objectives with the Make It OK web redesign were to build a more inclusive platform, provide more information and context on different mental health conditions and spotlight personal stories to inspire people to share their own experiences and encourage open conversations around mental health.

A Spotlight on Mental Health

In addition to its work with Make It OK, Preston Spire has created groundbreaking work centered around mental health with a gripping PSA centered on gambling addiction for Minnesota Alliance on Problem Gambling, and provocative public service campaign for Change the Ref, an anti-gun violence advocacy organization.

“We’re incredibly proud of the work we’ve produced around mental health, and we also strive to create a workplace at Preston Spire that prioritizes our own employees’ mental wellbeing,” says Jennifer Spire, Partner and CEO of Preston Spire. “We hope that through our work, we can encourage more people to be open about their own mental health because we strongly believe no one should ever have to suffer alone.”
