LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--60out Escape Rooms, Los Angeles’ most popular and award-winning immersive entertainment company, today announced that its new HHLA location is open to the public. It houses five rooms in total, with three currently available to play now—THE SMURFS™, Casino Heist II, and Hotel on Road 66—and the remainder to open by the end of the year.
Spanning more than 7,000 square feet, the new location showcases THE SMURFS™, Casino Heist II, Hotel on Road 66, and Titanic II.
Based off the iconic THE SMURFS™ cartoon, the room will port you to the Smurf village, where Papa Smurf and Smurfette are working on a big celebration. This experience is perfect for both children and adults alike.
Customers who loved the much-adored rooms Titanic and Casino are in luck as they have been revamped and players will find the new puzzles especially exciting and challenging as if it’s the first time they have played. Hotel66, inspired by a true story and the location’s horror room, will transport themselves into a hotel where customers check in, but they never check out. Those who love Orphanage and Amityville will really find this room appealing.
The new location also features an event room that enables guests to have a private space for parties and corporate events.
Since inception in 2015, 60out has expanded to five locations and seen tremendous success. After being featured on James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke with Ariana Grande, partnering with Sony and creating the wildly successful Jumanji room, and consulting and writing puzzles for NBC’s Celebrity Escape Room, 60out has become Hollywood’s go-to immersive entertainment company.
60out HHLA hours are Monday through Friday from 10am to 10pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 12:30am. Reservations can be made at 60out.com or calling 310.478.4444.
About THE SMURFS™
Blue and cute, standing only three apples high, the Smurfs value team spirit, loyalty, optimism, fun and respect for nature. They might be hard to tell apart at first, however, each Smurf has his or her own particularity. They live in a village full of mushroom-shaped houses, hidden in the heart of a magic forest where few people venture to go. Born in a comic book in 1958, Peyo’s little blue characters have been spreading happiness and entertaining kids and families for generations. The Smurfs animated series (2021) is airing worldwide on Nickelodeon and is available on Netflix. A new Smurfs movie produced and distributed by Paramount Pictures/Nickelodeon Animation and starring Rihanna as Smurfette has been recently announced with a February 2025 worldwide theatrical release.
