Boisson Announces Further Expansion of National Wholesale Distribution to Disrupt the $550M Non-Alcoholic Beverage Industry

National Wholesale Portfolio Investment Marks Next Chapter in Boisson’s Evolution as the Category Leader of Non-Alcoholic Beverage

NEW YORK--()--Boisson, the largest dedicated non-alcoholic beverage platform in the United States, is continuing to evolve the way the world drinks by expanding its national wholesale distribution through new partnerships with KeHe and LibDib, two industry leaders in on-premise and off-premise beverage distribution. These partnerships will further cement Boisson’s national footprint in wholesale distribution and allow it to continue leading the growth of the $550M non-alcoholic beverage category.

Unencumbered by traditional alcohol beverage regulations, Boisson is breaking the mold of traditional wholesale beverage distribution and taking a larger share of the food and beverage market to now include national retailers, grocery, bottle shops, and entertainment venues, in addition to traditional bars and restaurants. The demand for NA offerings has skyrocketed in recent months, with studies revealing that 14% (1 in 8) of consumers have non-alcoholic alternatives while out, and that percentage jumps to 25% (1 in 4) for millennials.

“KeHE is excited to partner with Boisson to provide new and emerging non-alcoholic brands opportunities to get in front of retailers that KeHE serves,” says Julie Terrazzino, Category Manager, Adult Non Alcoholic at KeHE.

Boisson will bring its reputation for uncovering the most sought-after global NA brands – like Kolonne Null, Giffard NA, Caleño, Pentire, Everleaf, Little Saints, Wilfreds, Haus of Babylon, and Misty Cliffs – to its new distribution channels. The company will continue to leverage its retail and e-commerce platforms to be the leading omni-channel platform for consumers and non-alcoholic beverage suppliers.

“We are very excited for the opportunity to work with Boisson in partnership to expand the wholesale reach of the non-alcoholic category,” says Cheryl Murphy Druzy, Founder and CEO of Libdib. “For 6 years now, Libdib has been shaking up the alcoholic beverage distribution world, and partnering with Boisson gives us a leg up in offering the most intriguing and exciting NA options to our customers.”

Boisson’s wholesale growth plans will be spearheaded by the brand’s new executive hire, Jill Sites, Vice President of Wholesale. Sites brings over 15 years of experience in the beverage industry and will focus on key growth markets, including New York, California and soon to be Miami, where Boisson has physical retail locations. The company will leverage its comprehensive non-alcoholic consumer insights to help bars, restaurants, and off-premise retailers make more informed, data-driven purchasing decisions.

"Existing spirits and beer distributor networks are phenomenal – I worked for one of the best for almost a decade – but most are just starting to figure out NA, while Boisson brings years of 100% dedication to the category,” said Jill Sites, Vice President of Boisson wholesale. “It is what we do, what we are passionate about, and what we want to grow. We know that we are small, but we are mighty and we see this as the perfect moment to give NA a seat at the big table of industry wholesale distribution.”

This national distribution expansion follows Boisson’s recent $5M bridge funding round from Convivialité Ventures, the VC arm of Pernod Ricard, and Connect Ventures, the investment partnership between entertainment and sports agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA) and global venture capital firm New Enterprise Associates (NEA). Boisson continues its rapid evolution as the category disruptor and distinguished omni-channel platform for consumers, retailers, suppliers, and hospitality customers alike.
