ServiceUp, an Autotech Startup That is Revolutionizing Car Repair, Launches ServiceUp for Fleets

The Company enters the fleet management market segment to innovate and modernize the fleet repair and maintenance experience

LOS GATOS, Calif.--()--ServiceUp, (“ServiceUp” or the “Company”), a high-growth autotech startup that is revolutionizing the car repair experience, today announced that it launched its newest service line, ServiceUp for Fleets, to address the growing and complex needs of fleet managers.

Through its repair technology platform, ServiceUp is modernizing and innovating three of the most time-consuming tasks of fleet managers: (1) vehicle maintenance and repair, (2) repair order status and tracking, and, (3) repair order approvals. In short, ServiceUp streamlines and automates the manual processes between fleet managers and repair centers, significantly decreasing fleet repair costs.

“We are proud to launch ServiceUp for Fleets to meet a significant pain point for fleet managers. By bringing our all-in-one app repair experience to fleet managers, we are able to deliver immediate and ongoing cost savings,” said co-founder and CEO Brett Carlson. “On average, we save 4-6 hours per service which is a game changer for fleet managers.”

“The biggest appeal of ServiceUp is the convenience and the time savings. Before them, I would have to take hours out of my work day, or take one of my staff out of rotation to handle van repair for me, which was a huge cost to my business,” said Craig Radley, Owner, Citrus Plus. “Now when I have an issue with one of my five vehicles, I make a couple clicks and get an appointment scheduled usually within the day. It saves my business hours, sometimes days of productivity with every repair."

Founded in early 2021, the South Bay autotech startup manages the entire car repair experience through its simple mobile app - from pick up, delivery, repair estimates, and management to payment, including BNPL (buy now, pay later) financing options and customer service. In addition, the company is building out a suite of ML/AI technology to drive efficiency in logistics, customer service, and marketing.

To date, ServiceUp has grown 20% month over month in 2022 and has established a vetted network of more than 150 top-rated car repair shops. The company is currently in four metro markets: San Francisco Bay Area, West Los Angeles, Denver, and Phoenix.

In September, ServiceUp announced its Series A funding of $14.5 million with leading global investment firm Tiger Global, with participation from Hearst Ventures and Chaos Ventures. The Company also announced last month its fintech partnership with Wisetack to offer consumer payment services in its app via Wisetack financing.

“Through ServiceUp’s vertically integrated app-based repair solution, fleet owners can now enjoy the simplicity and world class user experience to better manage their fleet, saving time and money for fleet owners and individual drivers,” adds Carlson.
