OTTAWA, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Faced with staff shortages, employee burnout, and crushing workloads, workers at the Ottawa-Carleton Association for Persons with Developmental Disabilities (OCAPDD) will hold an information picket Tuesday evening at the association’s head office.
They are calling on OCAPDD’s board of directors to ensure that supported individuals get the high-quality services they need and urging them to support a fair deal for CUPE 1521 members, in recognition of the important role they play in the lives of people with developmental disabilities.
