Advanced Group’s Victoria Hill Named to Staffing Industry Analysts’ DE&I Influencers List

CHICAGO--()--Advanced Group, an industry-leading, diversified, professional staffing, consulting and outsourcing organization, is pleased to announce that Director of Diversity & Social Impact, Victoria Hill, has been recognized by Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) as one of the most influential people working in the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) space within the staffing industry throughout the United States and Canada. This is Hill’s first year on the list, which honors leaders who not only put diversity, equity and inclusion into focus, but create real change in their organizations.

Under Hill’s leadership, Advanced Group’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee has grown to over 50 members and established three additional Employee Resources Groups focusing on People of Color, LGBTQ+ and Gender Parity. She has written and designed several DE&I training courses on topics such as Interview Bias, Microaggressions, and Neurodiversity, to name just a few. Hill was also responsible for getting Conscious Inclusion training incorporated into Advanced Group’s onboarding process. Additionally, she continues to keep Advanced Group focused on social impact with “Be the Difference” community-engagement events and “Culture Conversations,” which is a safe space for staff to share perspectives and listen without judgment.

“Victoria embodies what it means to be an inclusive leader. As a role model across our company and industry, she has transformed the culture of Advanced Group by creating and holding space for our employees to express and be seen as their true selves, and to learn and expand their own ideas about diversity, equity and inclusion. Victoria has empowered our organization by providing the tools we need to take action and make a meaningful impact,” said Mary Finley, Chief People Officer.

2021 was the first year of SIA’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) Influencers—US and Canada list, which was created to “inspire the industry” to open “opportunities for underserved and underrepresented groups, such as people of color, those with disabilities and those from different ethnic groups” by “highlighting individuals who are making an impact on DE&I.” In only the second year of the list, Hill’s recognition affirms the direction Advanced Group is headed in its efforts to further diversity, equity and inclusion throughout the organization and society at large.
