SWOG Clinical Trial Partnerships Selects Florence Healthcare to Support Clinical Trial Operations

Florence eBinders digital research platform will standardize eRegulatory and remote site access operations across the SWOG CTP network

ATLANTA--()--Today, Florence Healthcare announced that its digital research platform, Florence eBinders, will support clinical trial operations for SWOG Clinical Trials Partnerships, LLC (SWOG CTP).

SWOG CTP is an independent company formed by The Hope Foundation, the public charity of the SWOG Cancer Research Network. SWOG CTP conducts non-federally funded trials with sites that are members of SWOG’s network of nearly 12,000 researchers at over 1,300 hospitals, clinics, and cancer centers in 47 states.

“We look forward to standardizing our eRegulatory and remote site access operations on the Florence platform across the SWOG CTP network,” says Casey Dawson, Director of Administration for SWOG CTP. “This is a natural step forward in making it as easy as possible for sites to participate in CTP studies as we work to advance cancer research.”

SWOG CTP will benefit from Florence’s integrated digital research hub, Florence eBinders, to streamline regulatory operations, study-startup, and remote site monitoring in their multi-center studies.

Blake Adams, VP of Marketing for Florence, says working with SWOG CTP is a natural extension of their mission to advance research with the world’s best organizations. “Over one-third of oncology Principal Investigators (PI) use our platform, which allows us to support an active community and develop world-class software to make operations easier for cutting edge research organizations.”

SWOG CTP’s reach parallels Florence’s digital research platform, which includes more than 10,000 sites in 44 countries and facilitates more than three million remote site management activities for pharmaceutical and medical device companies each month.
