Texas’ leading medical cannabis provider promoted operations and cultivation specialists and bolsters its product team with new director of product management

AUSTIN, Texas--()--Texas Original Compassionate Cultivation (TXOG), Texas’ leading medical cannabis provider, announced today it promoted William Doolan to vice president of product operations and Jason Sanders to director of cultivation, and hired Meghan Clough as director of product management.

After announcing the company’s expansion to Bastrop, Texas, and the hiring of its new chief financial officer, Steven Yoo, TXOG is bolstering its product operations amid increased demand as newly qualified patients join the recently expanded Compassionate Use Program.

Company promotions and additions include:

  • William Doolan was promoted to vice president of product operations. Doolan has an extensive background in product consumer-driven ideation, innovation, product development and manufacturing. Doolan earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He holds five utility and two design patents from the U.S., Canada and the EU. The company also plays an important personal role for Doolan as his daughter is a current TXOG patient undergoing treatment for epilepsy.
  • Jason Sanders was promoted to director of cultivation. Sanders’s team is responsible for cultivating and testing the highest-quality cannabis in the state of Texas. He manages the company’s growing cultivation operations, optimizing plant development, research and production to achieve the company’s cultivation and business goals. Sanders has extensive experience in cannabis cultivation as well as a background in waste, recycling and compost programs. Sanders earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in agricultural sciences from Texas State University.
  • Meghan Clough joined the company as director of product management on Oct. 11. Clough most recently served as senior product manager at YETI and brings considerable experience in product strategy for outdoor apparel, outerwear and consumer sporting goods companies such as Black Diamond Equipment, G-Form, Thule and The North Face. Clough earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from the University of Vermont.
