Blueland Expands Into the Canada Market

Blueland continues to disrupt the cleaning category with expansion into international markets

NEW YORK--()--Furthering Blueland’s mission to eliminate single-use plastic from everyday products, today the brand announces its expansion into Canada.

Founded in 2019, Blueland is reimagining conventional household cleaning products to eliminate single-use plastic packaging. Blueland’s products are designed in tablet form - to be mixed with household tap water - and in powder form, saving consumers money and space while also saving the planet. As a Certified B Corporation - recognized for meeting the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability - Blueland has served as a vanguard in the sustainable consumer product goods space since its inception.

“We are thrilled to finally offer Blueland in Canada. This has been one of the top markets requested by our customers and we are excited to make Blueland available to more people,” said Sarah Paiji Yoo, co-founder and CEO of Blueland. “This is a huge milestone for our brand. When we first launched, our goal was to reduce single-use plastic consumption, and our international expansion will allow us to reach more people and have a larger impact on the planet.”

Blueland’s international offering will feature the brand’s full product assortment, including: Multi-Surface Cleaner, Glass + Mirror Cleaner, Bathroom Cleaner, Foaming Hand Soap, Powder Dish Soap, Dishwasher Tablets, and Laundry Tablets as a la carte purchase options or as a kit available in The Clean Suite. Perfectly packed to meet the everyday cleaning needs in any home, the Clean Suite is available as a monthly refill option for all included products on a subscription basis.

With nearly 40 patents-pending, Blueland’s innovative products have diverted nearly 2 billion single-use plastic bottles from landfills and oceans. In its two years since launch, the innovative and disruptive cleaning brand has partnered with fashion retailer Reformation and data journalist Mona Chalabi to introduce limited edition collections and appeared on the Season 11 premiere of ABC’s Shark Tank, garnering an investment deal with Kevin O’Leary.

Blueland will introduce new product innovations throughout the remainder of 2021 and expand into new categories in 2022. To learn more about Blueland’s mission to reimagine all packaged goods, visit the website at www.blueland.com.
