Tempo Partners With Clyde To Provide A Fitness Roadmap With Peace Of Mind Built In

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tempo, a San Francisco-based leader in the connected fitness space, is now offering protection plans on all of its equipment through Clyde, a technology company focused on offering extended warranties and accident protection in eCommerce.

The program covers Tempo’s physical equipment, ranging from their 3D Motion Sensor and premium weights to workout mats and heart rate monitors. These plans are an optional add-on for Tempo customers.

As with all new features and products at Tempo, the decision to partner with Clyde was based on customer feedback. Tempo’s customers can now achieve peace of mind, while getting in shape.

Making an investment in your personal health and fitness is tough already, so we wanted to make sure that every customer felt confident and secure with their Tempo purchase from day one,” said Winny Huang, Product Lead for Growth and Operations at Tempo. “By working with Clyde, we’ve provided our customers that extra peace of mind, which allows them to focus on what truly matters: reaching their fitness goals.”

For Clyde, the opportunity to partner with a company dedicated to improving the lives of its customers made for an ideal match.

“We started Clyde to help retailers provide warranty and product protection programs directly to their customers. When programs like these are done right, they are a pure value-add, providing customers with peace of mind, while creating a competitive advantage to the retailer,” says Brandon Gell, CEO and co-founder of Clyde. “By leveraging technology, we’re helping companies grow closer to their customers. And by handling the claims process directly, we’re making customers feel better about their purchases and by extension the brands they’re buying from. When given the chance to partner with a company like Tempo whose goal is to help people improve their lives and feel better about themselves, this was a no-brainer.”

Clyde protection plans are currently available for purchase on tempo.fit.
