OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AM Best will co-sponsor and speak at the upcoming virtual Emerging Leaders Conference, which recognizes high-performing individuals and provides professional training to develop the next generation of insurance industry leaders. The event will take place online Feb. 22-23, 2021, and be hosted jointly by the American Property Casualty Insurance Association (APCIA) and the Insurance Careers Movement.

AM Best Rating Services President and CEO Matthew C. Mosher will participate in a panel discussion titled, “Innovators, Disruptors & Empathetic Builders in Insurance,” which will occur at 2:50 p.m. (EST) on Feb. 23.

AM Best Senior Financial Analyst Dan Mangano also was selected by conference organizers to participate in the annual event as one of its emerging leaders. “AM Best is proud of Dan being chosen to participate,” Mosher said. “Our company’s ongoing support of the Insurance Careers Movement, and the cultivation of talent in the insurance industry, reflects the important role strong leadership and talent plays in the financial strength of an insurance company.”

As part of the property/casualty ratings division, Mangano is the lead analyst on several composite companies that have both property/casualty and life insurance subsidiaries, and is currently pursuing his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation.
