MEDIA ADVISORY: Education Workers at YCDSB Speak out on Thursday Against Library Workers’ Layoffs

AURORA, Ontario--()--Education workers representatives from the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) will hold a news conference tomorrow to offer their reaction to the closure of school libraries at York Catholic District School Board (YCDSB), along with the layoff of 30 library technicians. They will also outline next steps in the fight to restore library services and win these workers back their jobs.

CUPE 2331 represents almost 2000 administrative and instructional support workers at YCDSB.
