NEW YORK--()--BET pays tribute to Rayshard Brooks, a 27-year-old African American man tragically shot and killed by police on Friday, June 12 in Georgia. Anchored by BET News’ Marc Lamont Hill, BET’s live commercial-free homegoing service coverage will simulcast on BET and BET Her in tandem with blog-style coverage on BET.com Tuesday, June 23 beginning at 1PM ET from The Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA.

Dr. Bernice A. King, Tamela Mann, Kelly Price, Smokey Norful, Kurt Carr, and Bishop Dale C. Bronner are a few of the confirmed guests scheduled to attend the private memorial, which will feature a special video tribute by Yolanda Adams.
