TPG RE Finance Trust, Inc. Provides Update on CRE Debt Securities Portfolio

NEW YORK--()--On April 24, 2020, TPG RE Finance Trust, Inc. (NYSE: TRTX) (“TRTX” or the “Company”) sold CRE debt securities, subject to customary settlement, with an aggregate face amount of $19.7 million (the “Transaction”). Upon completion of the Transaction, the Company will own no CRE debt securities and will not have any associated liabilities.

The Transaction will cause the Company to recognize a loss on sale of approximately $2.7 million, which is estimated to result in a reduction in book value of approximately $0.03 per share. The aggregate reduction in book value on account of sales of CRE debt securities since March 1, inclusive of the reduction in book value reported on April 6, 2020, is $2.65 per share.
