T-System Provides Free Documentation Tool to Healthcare Providers During Worldwide Coronavirus Pandemic

T Sheets, T-System’s COVID-19 and influenza templates, support consistent documentation, diagnosis and treatment of coronavirus and influenza patients

DALLAS--()--As the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) continues to spread across the globe and the United States, T-System Inc. is providing complimentary T Sheets to healthcare providers worldwide to help them efficiently serve their communities.

The World Health Organization (WHO) on March 11 declared the coronavirus outbreak a pandemic with 118,000 cases and more than 4,000 deaths. With a nationwide influx of patients requesting testing for COVID-19, healthcare providers can take advantage of complimentary point-of-care tools to support consistent documentation, diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19 patients. All T Sheet templates incorporate the necessary clinical content and terminology required for ICD-10, as well as the latest Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines for diagnosis and treatment.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has stressed resources for emergency departments, urgent care centers and telemedicine providers,” said Dr. Robert Hitchcock, T-System EVP and general manager. “In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, T-System is proactively taking steps to ensure healthcare providers can document care effectively and efficiently, which is why we have made T Sheets complimentary to healthcare providers worldwide.”

During the Influenza epidemic of 2018, T-System provided influenza T Sheets that were downloaded and used by more than 300 hospitals and clinics nationwide.

T-System recommends visiting the CDC and WHO websites for more information and updates on COVID-19.
