Chart a New Course: Agora Cyber Charter School is Ready to Help Families Enroll for the 2020-2021 School Year

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa.--()--Agora Cyber Charter School (Agora), an accredited, full-time online public school, is ready to welcome students in K through 12 to enroll for the 2020-2021 school year.

Authorized by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, and delivered entirely online, Agora combines online instruction, rigorous curriculum and the support of state-licensed teachers.

With over 15 years as a trusted education program, Agora is designed to give your student a personalized learning experience, especially for those who seek alternative pathways to education. Agora tuition is paid by Pennsylvania taxpayers.

In addition to working towards their high school diplomas, Agora students can participate in the Destinations Career Program, which allows them to discover exciting options for their future in career fields like Business, IT, and Health and Human Services.

“No matter where your student’s academic level, our goal is to ensure that they graduate as productive citizens,” said Agora CEO Dr. Michael Conti. “We don’t want to be the biggest, we want to be the best, and we’ll support your student wherever they are, and wherever they want to go.”

Students take a full course load in the core subjects of math, science, English language arts, history, art and music. Electives include world languages, as well as 14 high school honors courses, and 18 Advanced Placement® tests. Agora also offers student clubs, in-person field trips, and social gatherings to foster a sense of school community. Agora is NCAA eligible.

Agora is also officially a Trauma Informed School, where the entire staff are prepared to recognize and respond to those who have been impacted by traumatic stress.

Virtual classes are taught by Pennsylvania-licensed teachers who provide instruction during live online class sessions, and are available to students via phone, email and one-to-one meetings.

Students choose online school for a variety of reasons including advanced learning, a bullying-free environment, and the ability to support extracurricular pursuits or medical needs. Agora’s online platform gives students the opportunity to pursue their academic goals in a supportive environment and at an appropriate pace for their learning style.

Agora is now accepting enrollments for the 2020-2021 school year. Families are encouraged to attend an online or in-person information session hosted by the school. More information on Agora, how to enroll, and a schedule of upcoming events can be found at agora.org/.
