EccoVia Solutions Powers Food Delivery Solution for Project Angel Heart

SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--EccoVia Solutions, a leading provider of health and human services cloud-based solutions, has successfully completed implementation of their signature software platform, ClientTrack©, as a Food Delivery Solution for Project Angel Heart in Denver, CO. Project Angel Heart has become the first user to take advantage of EccoVia Solutions’ Enterprise Service Bus for integrations, powered by NextGen Connect technology.

For approximately 3,500 people in Colorado who face life-threatening health diagnoses, Project Angel Heart provides meals that are medically tailored to improve their health and well-being. With a culinary team consisting of a registered dietitian, chefs, and volunteers, the organization meets these individuals’ dietary requirements and accommodates for allergies, side effects, medications, and texture needs. In addition to providing an important service, research has shown that delivering these meals can lead to improved health, a reduction in hospital readmissions, and overall lower monthly medical bills for these individuals.

Project Angel Heart organizes meal deliveries into routes, relying on nearly 120 volunteers to deliver the meals to individuals living in an area encompassing more than 800 square miles across two metropolitan areas. ClientTrack’s configurability grants the organization the flexibility to create customizable reports, queries, change alerts, requirement checklists for grant compliance, and lead time for kitchen preparation. Project Angel Heart can create efficiencies, improve their reporting and evaluation capabilities, optimize routes, and improve the volunteer experience to help provide the best possible service.

“The team at EccoVia worked hard to understand our needs, and were able to build us a truly impressive software system as a result,” says Brandy Brogan, Client Services Manager for Project Angel Heart. “Our new web-based system makes it possible for us to access client records much faster and from any location. Our team is working more efficiently and we’re also able to track program outputs more accurately.”

Already, Project Angel Heart has been able to use ClientTrack© to conduct real-time route optimization for their drivers, saving many hours of staff and volunteer time each week. Going forward, Project Angel Heart expects to rely on ClientTrack© to enhance their ability to work with health care partners to provide meals for patients, and to use the system’s flexibility to simplify the process of setting up and managing new contracts, opening the door for new opportunities and increased revenue.
