WASHINGTON--()--Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP is pleased to announce that Claudia L. Hinsch has joined the firm’s Tax, Employee Benefits, and Trusts and Estates practice group as a partner in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Hinsch joins from Holland & Knight. "2019 was another very busy year for our transactional practices," said Jon Newby, vice chairman of Sheppard Mullin. We are thrilled she’s joined us."

Hinsch advises employers, including private, public and tax-exempt entities, on all aspects of executive compensation and employee benefits matters, from qualified retirement plans and fringe benefits, to health and welfare plans arising under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), the Internal Revenue Code and the Affordable Care Act. She counsels clients on administrative human resources issues, compliance matters, merger integration, employment agreements, long-term and short-term incentive compensation plans, and change-in-control programs.
