On January 9, 2020, in honor of National Law Enforcement Day, Citizen will kick off its “Thin Blue Line Hero Awards” campaign asking the public to submit an entry describing an officer and why they are extraordinary. Citizen will choose one officer each month and honor them with a customized Thin Blue Line timepiece. These special edition watches feature the iconic thin blue line on the watch face which represents the sacrifice law enforcement officers make every day. The case back will be engraved with a personal message and the rank, name and badge of the officer. In addition, a gold card will accompany the watch with the rank, name and badge number.
