Harvest Volatility ran an options overlay strategy called Collateral Yield Enhancement Strategy, or CYES, which was a purportedly low risk and low volatility strategy that would generate “incremental returns” for investors. Harvest Volatility sold CYES as an overlay strategy to customers through various outside and independent financial advisers.
